Dick Groat by Kevin-John Unveiled
Disney master artist Kevin-John (left) unveils his celebrity sports action portrait of Pittsburgh Pirate great Dick Groat (right). A short-stop who played for the Pirates from 1956 to 1962, Groat helped Pittsburgh win the 1960 World Series. After winning the batting title that year, with a .325 average for the champion Pirates, he also was named National League MVP.
